About the project:

Following the success of the previous edition, Iberia Express returned as one of the main sponsors of the Ídolo Awards, Spain’s leading event celebrating influencers and digital creators. Building on the positive feedback and social buzz generated last year, the airline decided to bring back one of its most memorable activations: customized airplane headrest covers that turned the entire venue into an immersive Iberia Express experience.

This year, the concept was refreshed and expanded, reinforcing the airline’s playful and thoughtful approach to branding while further personalizing the experience for the audience.

At the core of the action was the same clever idea: recreate the comfort and branding of an Iberia Express flight inside the awards theater. Each seat featured a branded headrest cover, designed with a clean and vibrant aesthetic that matched the event’s mood. Once again, every cover was personalized with the name of a nominated influencer or content creator, creating a one-of-a-kind moment of recognition and exclusivity.

The activation served both as a striking visual installation and as a subtle reminder of the airline’s attention to detail and customer care.

Execution:

Refined and modernized the headrest cover template, keeping the Iberia Express logo at the forefront while incorporating new visual elements to differentiate this year’s edition.

• Produced individual name versions for each nominee, ensuring typographic consistency and careful alignment across the entire venue.

• Worked closely with the event production team to coordinate the layout and installation, turning the theater into a branded environment visible both in person and on social media.

The renewed activation received enthusiastic feedback once again, confirming that this simple yet creative idea had struck a chord. It became a recognizable signature for Iberia Express at the Ídolo Awards — turning a traditional sponsorship into a memorable brand experience.
